Much better news to start out today – the oral (pushed through her feeding tube) steroids kicked in after 3 hefty doses and Eme’s awake this morning!  She’s even sitting up & has given her baby doll a bathJ.  She’s still a little slow, but is overall much improved & back on track to her old self.  And, yes… Dr. M acknowledged it – “you were right”, he said.  It’s not about who’s right & who’s wrong, though.  I just want to do what’s best for Emerson.  Uggh…  He suggested we stay one more day to keep an eye on her.  I want to go back to the apartment, though (I seriously need to get out of this place).  This time I won & we’re discharging today!!  We’re not far away if things don’t continue to improve.  Now that she’s on proper medication for Addison's, though, I have a strong suspicion they will!
